Complete belt separation without tire deflation...belts flew off leaving $1,348 worth of damage to vehicle....tires were inspected prior to leaving on vacation from Florida to Wisconsin...belt separation took place outside of maquoketa, Iowa. This tire should not have separated in such manner....fortunately my family was not harmed by this incident, other than financially. Upon contacting Michelin discovered the company was not interested in this problem. Hopefully this information will possibly prevent this type of problem happening to others....thank you for your time....james E. vertz. (dot number: M3T2472X32 tiresize: P215/65R15)
