The contact owns a 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager. The contact's vehicle was crashed into from the rear. The front driver and passenger side seats fractured, throwing the driver and passenger into the dash board. The seat then moved backward independently. The air bags did not deploy. The driver and passenger were transported to the hospital via ambulance. The driver sustained neck, shoulder, back, hip and knee injuries. The passenger sustained injuries to the neck, shoulder, back, hip and a bruised hernia. The police reported to the scene and a report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.
