Two weeks ago I noticed my air bag light was staying on. We also found out that the horn and the cruise control stopped working. We have checked all the fuses and found out through the my car stats web site this same problem was part of a recall involving a clock spring problem. Since no dealer in my area will honor this recall it is still broken.

While starting up the vehicle SRS light appeared on the dashboard and remained on. Horn and the cruise control worked intermittently. Consumer drove vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that clock spring needed to be replaced due to a worn out part.

Airbag light came on, horn stopped working, cruise control stopped working. Clockspring failure diagnosed as problem. This vehicle, however, was not covered under the current Chrysler/Plymouth recall. It needs to be!.
