Air bag clockspring has shorted out on this vechicle, as reported to me by russ darrow (dearlership) I tried to contact Chrysler about this problem they refused to take any information on it. To have a air bag componet fail on a three year old vechicle is both dangerous and ridiculous.

Air bag light on the instrument panel is illuminated and will not go off. Cruise control feature fails to operate, and horn does not work. Dealership examined vehicle and determined clockspring assembly in the steering column has failed, and was causing these problems. Please provide any additional information / documentation.

Air bag warning light stays on. Technician advised that clock spring in steering column was bad and needed replaced. Since this is a safety item I asked if they did the replacement, and was advised that it was my responsibility to have it repaired at my expense. Technician also advised that they have had a problem with this item on this year model.
