The removable head rests in my 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager have a design flaw. The metal supports that extend into the padding are now protruding through that padding, but not through the outer vinyl cover, in the event of an accident, the passengers head will make contact with the metal and likely receive injuries from it. The headrests have been turned around backwards to prevent such an occurrence, though they are now not adjustable and will only provide head/neck support to a child. My van contains 4 of these headrests. I have owned the vehicle for 4 years and all of them have deteriorated during this time.
