Hey guys, I was laid off when this happened. Thank you so much GM! Everybody is aware that the 100K coolant that GM put in these cars attacked the intake gaskets. According to GM this was not a factory defect. That the problem was with the anifreeze manufacterer. Okay, there was a lawsuit against them. I applied. Guess what, denied. GM wins again. They put this garbage in their cars but will not stand by them when it screws up. Gee, I wonder why nobody wants to buy an American made car anymore. I can tell you who won't buy a GM product again. Buy the way, if you think flushing the system is a good idea, think again. Because the coolant makes a thick buildup in the block. If you are stupid enough to flush the block say good bye to heat in the winter time because the buildup breaks loose and clogs up the heater core.

Figure you will get to visit the shop every two weeks.

Took in my vehicle for regular semi annual inspection and was told they have detected a coolant leak problem in the engine...

Bottom line its going to cost $1100

This really gets to me as I had GM extended warranty upto 100 000km and now I am sitting on 115k and all the problems start..Never will buy a GM product again!!!
