1 of the most reliable cars owned so far bought back in 2006, used at 80k miles. I went through 2 fuel pumps before just buying a race car fuel pump for it. Poorly maintained for the last 90k miles but ran great. Then it started to drink coolant.

I took it in for an oil change. The mechanic said it looks like it has been overfilled. I did not know since I only have them do it. 2 weeks later it started to start hard and act like it is dying. After filling up the coolant reservoir 2 twice, I checked the oil it was like turning a milky white color. I took it back for an oil change. They said the same thing.

The car started to stall while driving but would re-start. I parked it, and had my dad check it. He said water was leaking into the engine block. I traded it in for a 2010 Pontiac Vibe GT. After looking into it, it seems like a common problem for the head gasket to go bad at high mileage. It is around a $1000 fix via a mechanic shop, but since it was at almost 250k miles it was best just to get rid of it. Other than that the car was perfect. I wish I could get another one, but they're rare nowadays.
