Random and very infrequently, engine would die. Wait a few minutes and start right up and run just fine. Several months go by and again. Finally caught it. I had my Ohmeter on the pickup coil and it read open. Then in an instant it was continuity. But I saw the open. Replaced the pickup coil all is good. It had a bad crimp on the connector.
