The first incident of the problem was after letting my car sit for a few days (5) without starting it (it's been cold here in Chicago and the car is parked outside.) My car wouldn't start, so I took out my battery that I bought just last year, and had it re-charged. The battery took the charge, so I put it back in and my car and it started and has been working for a week. Once again, I let my car sit outside for 4 days before starting. It won't start. I've never had my car be so less dependable before. Is it just getting old and I should be starting my car every day? or is there something wrong with the battery (I just bought it a year ago)? or is there something draining my battery that I'm not aware. I would like an opinion before taking this to a mechanic and going on a wild ride.
