2008 Pontiac G5 Dealership said I had to replace both front lower arm control bushings at 56,000 Km. Thankfully I had purchased extended warranty which covered it and I trusted that the issue was fixed and would not occur again.

Here we are with the exact same problem again with 78,000 km. This car is hardly driven - not used for work. Spoke to other owners who tell me they've never had to replace bushings. I wonder how often I would be in the shop for this if I lived in a place where the roads are not repaired but are chewed up by the big ore/gold trucks? This is unacceptable as it is clearly a defective part failing to perform its function.

Apparently, GM's head office agrees that this is unusual. We will see what preventative measures they take this time.
