car wants to stall when i put it into drive and it idols rough

Everytime i start my car it starts up fine when batterys fully charged. Then when i drive it, everytime i stop it stalls out on me. Some times i gotta sit there for 15-20 mins before it starts back up. Or i just let it run idle to let it warm up and in about 15 mins it will stall out even if im not driving it. Can somebody please help me by telling me whats wrong and how to fix??????

I was in the middle of rush hour traffic when my car just died. it would start up in park but when i would put it in drive it would stall. I was pissed cause it took me 20 min to get out of all that. Then I had a mechaninc tell me to pull the torque converter plug and everything has been fine sense.

when I drive my car for a period of time it will stall out. Before it didnt even start. Then changed the ignition switch now it stalls out and I have to wait so long for it to turn back over. So then I changed the coil packs. It still stalls out what else is there?
