This is my only problem with the 3.8L. The original design has a plastic elbow coolant joint which can, over time, deteriorate and break. I replaced it with a metal version of the joint and has been working for a couple years now with no issues. The fix is fairly simple and cheap. Just be sure to buy extra antifreeze if you do this fix.

If you have questions, contact me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
