The contact owns a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. While idling at a stop light, the contact's child opened the rear passenger door although it was locked. The issue occurred twice. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to diagnose or repair the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was unavailable.

The contact owns 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. The contact stated that the vehicle only had one lock for entering and exiting the vehicle which had failed. The remote key fob was previously replaced three times for the exact same failure but to no avail. The contact believed that the key fob was poorly manufactured and was the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure and current mileage was 63,000.

She had the remote key fob replaced twice since 2008 but the failure occurred again. The contact called the dealer who offered no assistance. The current and failure mileages were approximately 63,000.
