Have driven my Grand Prix about 7,500 miles in 7 months. I've had NOTHING but problems with it.

While just dealing with the other issues until it falls apart and I can walk away from it and be a much happier person....I have a new problem.

While driving at a steady speed, I heard three chimes and the message "Charging System Failure" appear on the DIC. The message went away after about 3 seconds. The problem is random but is happening more often. I'm ASSUMING my alternator is getting ready to die as I have replaced several alternators on my GM vehicles in the past.
