Reduced engine power randomly comes on, while driving. The car slows down and will not respond when attempting to accelerate. I have to pull over and shut the car off (last time stuck for 20 minutes), and wait until the car will go again. Filing a complaint about this issue. I was almost hit by another vehicle due to this issue happening just as I was merging into traffic. Of course, nothing will be done until there is a death......
Update from Jan 2, 2016: My issue ended up being that my gas cap was stripped and not sealing. Since it is a pressurized system, it was causing reduced engine power. I replaced the gas cap ($15) and it hasn't happened since.

While driving my 2008 Grand Prix, the car shut off, I coasted to the side of the road. Smelled plastic burning, removed keys, popped hood. Sure enough, fuse box was about on fire. Headlights were on, wipers were going, and keys were in my pocket. Ripped battery cable off, and had towed to home.

Within 2 months of buying the car, it died twice, instantly with no warning. One time, I was able to pull to the side of the street with the little bit of steering I still had. The second time, I was in the intersection of a very busy street. I had to wait for a policeman to come and push me to a spot out of the way. The garage at first did not know what was wrong. Apparently a tech mentioned that this type of vehicle had a problem with the electrical system and he'd read about it somewhere. If not for him, they'd have put in some fix that wouldn't have worked and it would have kept happening until SOMETHING happened.
