The grinding noise started months ago. Shifting the 6 speed became a problem when I'd "go through the gears." It was determined to be the throwout bearing. The best advise was to replace the clutch and flywheel while the transmission was out.

Got a clutch and flyweel from Advance Auto. It would not work. Pulled the transmission again, got a special clutch, as close as could be found to the factory specks.

The power windows quit working. I'll have to replace the motors on both side.

It's a great car, but if you have clutch problems you might want to take it to a dealer for service.
