During winter months all interior windows fog/frost/ice up to point of having to use ice scraper to clear them. Even after you're able to get vehicle warmed up & windows clear - after parking vehicle for 30-45 minutes problem comes back. Dealer is insistent vehicle has no leak issues & explains problem is one of melting snow/slush from customers feet, building up to point of saturating carpet, causing excessive moisture inside passenger compartment. This a load of crap .. we have 2 identical vehicles wqith exception of color & only one has the problem. We suspect an HVAC problem .. maybe blocked AC drain hose or bad condenser which is pushing moisture back into the car

During the winter your A/C should act as a dehumidifier in conjunction with the heater to suck moisture out of the air. This is the 3rd or 4th complaint filed with our dealer & still no answers. The Service Manager indicates He "just wants the problem to go away" Doesn't seem to be too interested in solving the problem. Says we have the wrong type of after market slush mats installed. Yet when we try to purchase GM mats he recommends .. they are apparently discontinued. Everybody in the Canada & Norther n US use slush mats in the winter & most don't experience this problem. I know alot of people that don't even use them & their carpets are wringing wet .. they don't have this fogging iceup issue. Next step is to file a formal complaint with Customer Service I guess. My daughter is at her wits end & really pissed .. says she should've bought the JETTA she wanted instead of the WAVE & now is quite definite, that she will never buy another GM product as long as she lives.
