Okay...not sure of the exact month...but it was in and around this time, although the dealership should have this info. Again...car died...towed to dealer, they put in another altenator....asked if there was some other problem tht was causing the altentor to die...they said no...just got another lemon. Car fixed and on way....but getting really annoyed.

So this is the second time my alternator went. Was on my way to show clients a property out of town and on my way my car died again. Not sure of the exact dates but the month and year are correct. I had to call a friend to pick me up to get me to the property, a farm, to meet my client. Tow truck driver did not want to pick up my car with me not there but I convinced him too as I would be at least 3 hours. Towed to dealer, again a few days without my car but dealer replaced the alternator. Happily on my way for another year plus a few month....the saga continues..

okay...so now my warranty is over. Alternator died...wasn't sure if it was still under warranty so had car towed to dealer......but no...warranty has expired.....cost $900.00 to fix....paid for tow.....and now this. Very angry...called GM...talked to women there....explained how many alternators I have put in....she made a call to the dealer...was told by the dealer...alternators are only built to last a year...then he asked why I didn't have all my service work done there.....offered a free oil change, which I took, GM called me back, and they agreed to pay for half the cost....and believe me 900.00 for an alternator, which I now know is way to much money. When I questioned her about it she didn't know what to say...I asked her how old her car was....she said 4 or 5 years old, then I asked her how many alternators she had put in it? One every year? Her answer was no Feel like they were taking advantage of me because I am female. I have had to put in a new one every year since 2009 6 months after I bought the damn car.

Again....my alternator died.....getting very frustrated.....I have owned may cars and I have replaced more alternators in this car than I have in any other vehicle.....again the dealer puts me off.....says just a lemon alternator.....I don't believe him...asked if there could be an electrical issue causing it...nope.....I have no confidence in this mechanic....
