Car now has 1800 miles on it and we drive to and from dealer (90 miles each way) to repeatedly get seatback cushions on both 14 way seats reattached to seat frame. Detachment has occurred 4 times now, twice on each side. PCNA suggesting it is our fault in that we must be getting in and/or out of the car incorrectly. Was not aware of rules to entry and exit.......They do not seem to accept a design flaw or installation flaw as the cause. Will likely avail myself of North Carolina Lemon Laws as car was purchased new in Charlotte and that dealer is only willing to repurchase car (they cannot figure out how to stop detachment from repeating itself over and over again which I know it will) for $20K less than purchase price...outrageous. The car is otherwise fantastic and is our 6th Porsche. So disappointing to have seat failure, of all things, plague an otherwise almost perfect roadster. Thought about a 911 but, lo and behold, their sets are from the same manufacturer, apparently Lear, who blew us off on the phone. Everyone claims that they have never heard of such a problem. Anyone else out there having similar issues?

Update from Jul 6, 2013: Seatbacks have both detached again today, July 7, 2013. Will have to have dealer reattach again. Supposedly "porsche field technician or engineer" will look at it soon. We are not able to figure out why this is happening as there is no pattern. Not optimistic that PCNA will find or admit to an actual cause or offer an acceptable solution. Do not particularly want to have a five step plan I have to follow to get into the car and exit the car. Just want to hop in and go! Have contacted lawyer in NC.
