One thing the 2008 does share with the 2007 is a recall of a busted gear shifter cable which can make it look like your car is in park, when the transmission is still engaged. You can only imagine what kind of fun that causes.

When the brake pedal is applied and released there is a Creak/groan from the master cylinder. The mechanic said it was air in the vacuum booster ( you can do that?) but didn't fix it. Then I found this Technical service bulletin 08-05-22-002B which says " Subject:
Squeak Noise On Brake Apply (Remove Brake Fluid from Master Cylinder and Refill)"
It seems the cheap brake fluid used at the factory isn't lubricating the seals.
