One thing the 2008 does share with the 2007 is a recall of a busted gear shifter cable which can make it look like your car is in park, when the transmission is still engaged. You can only imagine what kind of fun that causes.

My wife who drives the car most of the time, has frequently noticed a delay of the dashboard lights coming on when she starts and drives the car. The delay is often 5-10 mins or more and can make it difficult to see the information. She had the car in several times before warranty and after and the dealer could not solve the problem. We have had some issues with the door locks (all failed to operate electronically) and also the tire pressure management system also and wonder if there is not a connected problem.
