In the fall of 2012, I began noticing that frost (and mold) was forming on the inside of the car. When I pulled up the mats, I discovered a considerable amount of water. As I was unemployed by then, I had no money to investigate it and it didn't seem worth the cost. My auto mechanic friend and I finally did a hose test on the car, and discovered the leak was coming in near the seam of the front passenger door. He didn't know what to do about it.

I have water dripping on the front floor of my 2006 Saturn Vue on the driver side and the passenger side. I had it diagnosed by several mechanics, but no one can tell me where the water is coming from. It is not the thermostat because the air conditioner and heater is working well.

On November 7, 2013, I took it to Serra to see if they can tell me a second time why water was coming inside the vehicle. They pulled up the carpet and discovered that the floor was saturated with water and mold was growing. Now, the carpet and other things has to be replaced; and I don't have a warranty. I told them that this is the second time I had it in there for the same diagnostics and evaluation. Also, I took my car to the same dealer again to have the carpet cleaned, and asked them again, why water was dripping on the floor. Still they couldn't provide me with a reason. At that time (2012) , it cost over $100.00 dollars to have the carpet cleaned. Today, 11/07/2013, I will have to pay over $600.00 dollars to replace the carpet and do other related work plus to see why water is still coming in and wetting the floor, and repairing it; and etc.

What am I to do? This is going to be a big money output. Still, I don't know what the overall problem(s) and costs are. Has anyone out there had this problem? Is there a recall on the 2006 Saturn Vue?
