We have taken the 2016 Scion IA to four different Toyota dealers with certified mechanics and master mechanics looking into the stalling issues. None of them can seem to locate the source or diagnose the cause of the stalling. Began doing this on and off usually under load such as having the air conditioning on or heat. Now it's everyday, at red lights, stop signs, the car suddenly jerks and stalls with no warning whatsoever. Scraping noises can be heard under the car usually right before it cuts off. I've had to put the transmission in park and restart the car to go anywhere. It's a danger to my family - I won't ride with my 3 year old in the car.

Don't understand what this is about poor design by Mazda/Toyota. Not sure! Horrible experience. Not to mention the touch screen has glazed and cracked after having the car for 2 years. Many things about this car just have taken a turn for the worse. Hope to trade in for something else. Undecided whether it will be another Toyota... I DO NOT WANT THIS SCION IA PAIN (In The Ass) anymore! There should be a recall on this thing. No check engine light! The mechanics can't tell me a damn thing! They've suggested I've either overfilled the gas tank or I did not properly START the engine! Hello, it's a PUSH to start car.
