SX4 Premium Crossover 2.0L 4-cyl

2011 Suzuki SX4 AWD Premium Crossover worked fine, but suddenly developed transmission issues after sitting for 2 weeks and a half. First it stopped shifting, threw Check Engine light and some other lights, then put engine in limp mode. After being towed to a shop, it refused to move completely. Had to get the solenoid pack replaced according to the codes, then the whole valve body, plus new CVT fluid and both filters. Started to move but still not shifting, so the car is useless.

No one is able to diagnose this transmission correctly, and the former Suzuki dealer nearby says they don't do troubleshooting anymore. Still trying to figure it out, but most likely will have to sell it "as is" with a huge loss. My advice is to avoid any CVTs, but specifically, never buy cars with Jatco CVTs (they installed the same transmission on several models of Nissan, Jeep, Chrysler and even Mitsubishi). They should recall their CVTs and provide a lifetime warranty on these, as they can fail at any moment.
