CC Sport 2.0L Tsi

Third problem I'm reporting with this vehicle.

I got code P12A2, fuel system pressure problem. Replaced both PCV valve and high pressure fuel pump. During the cycle of repairs, 2 other codes came up, P119A and P0300.

Cost so far is $1200 and codes keep coming back.

I can find words to describe how terrible this vehicle is. Stay away from VW, just don't do it.

CC Luxury 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission

At 116K miles, I didn't think I'd need to complain about the reliability of my 2009 Volkswagen CC. However, this is the 4th time that I've had the same exact issue where the vehicle loses power and leaves me stranded. I bought the car at 24K miles in 2012 and only a month later it lost power on my way to work and had to be towed into the dealership. Their diagnostic was to replace the fuel pump. Then 1.5 years later in 2013, I had the same issue where the vehicle lost power. The diagnostic was wiring to the fuel pump which needed replacement again. Then in 2014 while traveling the car lost power on the interstate and I had to be towed to a dealership, only to learn of the fuel pump needing replacement. These issues were all protected by warranty so naturally I did not feel the need to complain, but now that the warranty expired at 105K miles, I'm left on my own to replace yet another fuel pump at the cost of $950. If anyone else has the same repeated problem with the fuel pump of the CC, it's worth reporting it so that others can know what they're in for.
