The contact owns a 2009 Volkswagen Cc. When starting the vehicle, the check engine and gas cap warning lights illuminated on the dashboard. The dealer made unknown repairs to the vehicle but to no avail. The failure recurred three additional times and was taken back to the dealer. The dealer advised that the fuel tank imploded while in the dealers possession. The failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 23,000.
