The contact owns a 2010 Volkswagen Cc. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph she tried to engage the brake pedal and it extended to the floor while the ABS also engaged. She was able to stop the vehicle by applying continuous pressure to the brake pedal and changing gears. The contact mentioned that the failure happened several times; however, the most recent failure, she was unable to stop the vehicle until it crashed into another vehicle. The contact didn't mention if there were any injuries. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that they were unable to duplicated the failure but they confirmed that the auto hold system was faulty. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that since the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure, the vehicle could be driven. A police report was filed. The failure mileage was 10,368 and the current mileage was 10,390.

The contact owns a 2010 Volkswagen Cc. While driving 10 mph the contact applied the brakes and noticed that the brake pedal had fallen onto the floor which increased the stopping distance. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that the failure was related to the way he was driving the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure had occurred since the vehicle was purchased. The failure mileage was 250 and the current mileage was 2000.

The vehicle abnormally accelerated and the contact was able to stop the vehicle. The contact stated she had experienced the failure at least 5 times. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 0 and the current mileage was 1,953.
