' "takata recall" I lost control my vehicle while I was driving at athens dr and hit the vehicle in front, I had big damage to my vehicle it was due to improper fuel pump control module. I had reuested already repair from leith VW cary nc, they said they didn't have remedy.

In a front end collision while slowing down on interstate 84, on October 15, 2015, the air bag did not release. This resulted in a fractured sternum and a hospital stay. The police report with the Connecticut state police is case number 1500606623 per article in usa today -- 8.15.15, this car is included in a recall due to airbags not deploying.

Rear trunk trim, near the rear window, is plastic and has split in half due to the Florida heat. Multiple complaint online about this being a common occurrence, but VW is not fixing the problem.
