I purchased the car in 2012. November 29, 2013 my car had a loss of power and ultimately stopped running. I had it towed to the dealership and found out there was a cylinder #2 was misfiring. I also was told that the manifold was not in working condition. Since everything was under warranty I did not worry about the cost.

November 1, 2014 the catalytic converter light came back on. I went to Autozone and had a diagnostics check ran. I was told it was cylinder #2 misfiring. Monday morning I send the car to the dealership and was later told that the remedy would be to get the engine chemically cleaned, have the carbon cleaned off and replace the spark plugs. All this for the nice sum of $700.00. As I go through the paperwork from last year I notice that all 4 plugs were replaced then because quote "all plugs were burnt and fouled". My car is out of warranty now but I think they should have dug a little deeper considering this car was only a year old and all plugs were burnt. I also Google manifold issues and there are a lot of complaints about it and the options they are suggesting this time has been tried, tested, and has failed many CC owners.

I have called National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and BBB because there is no way anyone should have to pay for a car and rebuild it at the same time! I suggest others do the same so a class lawsuit can possibly be started!
