Takata recall. I have been trying to get this airbag replaced in my daughters car. We live in Florida and her car is listed on the recall list which is still open. I pray everyday that she is safe in this car, we can not afford to replace an entire car or get a rental for months at a time.

Takata recall I purchased a cpo cvw Cc sport from and have gone to my local VW dealer in la quinta California several times about this recall. I am an 82-year old woman that frequently travels by car between la quinta and los angeles. I am very concerned about being in an accident along the much traveled highways between the two areas knowing my air-bag might not work. I have had arterial stents implanted and should I get in an accident the debris from a faulty airbag could kill me. I need this fixed or VW should offer to replace my car. What can I do" can you help in any way" thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Takata recall- I was sent notification about the recall via mail back in February. I called the number listed to get more information as well as set up a date to take care of the issue. I was informed that no resolution had been put into place at that time. My vehicle is stationary at this point, I would like to drive my car and not be in fear of my life with something that would hopefully safe my life and not take my life. If would like to give the car back to the dealership and start over.it is not fair that I have purchased this vehicle have not used it as I please because of the fear of the metal fragments in the airbags.I would like a resolution immediately so that I can in full confidence drive and enjoy my vehicle. I purchased it in 2013 with just 23,000 miles and as of this date it has only 60,000. Thank you very much for your time.

"takata recall" will the problem be fixed, I do not want to purchase another car at this time, but it looks as if I will be forced to do so. I also have some electrical issues with the car the air pressure in the tires and the lights keep going out to replace them every 4 to 6 months is crazy.. the dealership here wants to put me in a new car and as he said eat the cost to replace, why don't they just pay off the car and I can cut my losses and start over with a car of my choice, I'm being forced back into a VW car?

Takata recall - the recall was announced 2/2016. It is now almost 9/2016 and Volkswagen reports that there is no remedy yet. This airbag issue is potentially lethal and they are letting people continue to drive around. Where is the accountability?

Wednesday on my home I'm driving going about 35mph gearing down as I am coming up to a tole booth when I notice that brakes literally have shut off. I'm pressing the petal repeatedly as hard and as fast as I can to get them to work but they ended failing and I ran into someone and went through the tole booth and rolled stopped 80 yards after the crash because the brakes still did not work after the crash.with airbag not deploying. It was a very traumatic experience, I no longer feel comfortable in a vehicle I was so happy with moments before this happened.

My steering wheel electrical and air bag stopped working after I made a turn while driving. I found out it was the clock spring after taking it in. The car had only been driven for about 38,000 miles and something like that should not happen that early. Volkswagen has not done anything about it yet either.

Turning the steering wheel at low speed as I was exiting a parking lot and heard a metallic sound and steering got very tight, several warning leds presented on the dash display indicating air bag failures. All features incorporated with the steering wheel were inoperable including the horn. Took vehicle to VW dealer, service tech codes indicated the sccm module/clock spring has failed and needs to be replaced asap at a cost of ~ $ $800
