I bought the 2024 GTI Brand New, and before I had done research and bought the car, I heard of the CarPlay feature disconnecting at random moments when the car is on. This has happened to me sporadically since I bought the car back on 9/11. It does not make the car undrivable, but there are moments when I am enjoying the music on my drive, and then the music cuts off because the carplay disconnected. My friend has the same issue on his 23 GLI model for Android Auto, so there is something wrong with the units that are put in or a Bluetooth module that should be looked at.
