steering is tight when sitting stilll, fights when turning the wheel. gets better when driving car, and sometimes you hear a pop from front end. want to know if problem is rack, pump, or possibly the fluid, cause it sometimes smells like fluid is burning. Please could someone give some info, so i don't get shafted by a mechanic.
