VW Jetta tdi 1.9 litter diesel has extremely poor fuel mileage. Advertised is to get 50 mi/gallon. I get at best 40 mi/gallon highway and as low as 25 mi/gallon mixed highway/city. Dealer avoids the issue by saying low milage is due to bad fuel, extreme cold, poor driving habits.
