The clutch lever (what makes the throw out bearing move the pressure plate fingers and depress the clutch) cracked almost in half. It is in the shape of a C channel, it failed and cost me a new flywheel because you cannot refinish a dual mass flywheel ( i had to install a Sachs VR6 clutch and flywheel). The original clutch lever was prone to cracking because of the rough marks and rough edges on it during manufacture. It wasn't cleaned up and neither was the brand new one. I filed and sanded all the edges and painted the new one so it would last longer.
