$7782.84 was the actual quote for repair to replace the transmission. This quote came from Lakeland Volkswagen, Lakeland, FL. The service quoted was TRANSMISSION, OIL COOLER, OIL COOLER SEALS, ATF 1 QT.
This issue came on suddenly. I accelerated from a stop sign, the car shuddered and the transmission started slipping badly. From that point, the car was nearly undriveable. This is the last straw with our VW, I will never buy another.
