Premature clutch, pressure plate and flywheel wear as the crankshaft seal leaked oil on these parts. Reported the dealer that the car dropped off cruise-control a year ago with strange acceleration behavior on some occasion - mainly when the engine had to use lot of torque (uphill acceleration for example).

They had the transmission open, then they said they have to change all mentioned parts AND crankshaft seal. It's a 4500$ CAD repair that the dealer will assume under standard warranty.

Considering that the car only have 25 000 kms, I won't be keeping it after it's repaired. This car has been unreliable for a long time and i feel like it's already a huge waste of money.

Driving it with this slipping behavior since first year of a 5 years loan.
