I purchased a new 2019 Jetta GLI. I placed about 800 miles on it. At about 300 miles I was hearing a slight noise at low speeds. The noise got worse at close to 800 miles. I took it in and the dealer reported the transmission broke a tooth off of the 5th gear. So tooth has been bouncing around for a few hundred miles. Dealer stated minimal damage. VW Corporate some how reported and convinced the dealer that there was no damage other than tooth. They have it about 15 days and still not complete. It is a nightmare. VW is all about numbers and unfortunately after 5 VW's it seems I am a number as well. They refused to replaced transmission as well as work with me at all. Very upsetting. Bought a new car and now I have a used car with a carfax report.
After this car it will be my last VW after this experience. Should have went with the Subaru when it comes to it. Just had trust in VW and now I see where it will get you. Buyer BEWARE!
