I took my car in for service. I figured since I was there I might as well buy an extra key. I ordered one, had to come back
a few days later to pick it up and have it programed. After I got home the doors would not lock with either key on one side would but not the other. Also the horn stopped sounding off when the key was pressed, both when it was locked or unlocked. now my horn will not beep ... My Horn and original security key door locks worked fine so I thought that was until the new key was made ... I went back to VW was told I had to replace the drivers door hinge & that would be another approx $450.00.
