Purchased my 2014 VW Routan from a dealer in Knoxville, Tennessee February 26, 2020. It was billed as the "Owners Wife's Car" with 32k on the odometer. What could go wrong, I thought? Within 2 weeks the vehicle exhibited malignant electrical malfunctions in the form of all the lights on the dash flashing, windshield wipers going wild, signals flashing, and all gages in a death spiral, in the middle of nowhere Missouri on the way to Los Angeles for specialized cancer treatment.

The dealer compelled me to sign an "AS-IS" contract, but hid the fact that this car just fell out of VW Warranty just a short week before I purchased the car. Also that the car had this same problem occur several times document by Repair Orders, not the Car Fax they held up as the "Holy Grail". The Car Fax only revealed "Electrical System Checked", not that they had fixed a number of wires, modules, and main Control Computer.

Car Fax basically said "Crap in Crap Out". Meaning they only report what they are fed. The Dealer was silent about the electrical problem, which was just as bad as lying just how dangerous and pervasive this problem was.

I took this to the "Kangaroo" court system in Knoxville to only find the "GOOD OLE BOY" system of justice was fully in place. I came up with a mountain of evidence and case law only to be run out of the court room by a dismissive Judge who gave me no quarter with any of the case law studies I presented.

For example, I presented the nearly $2K I have spent with the local VW Dealer, he struck it down as "Heresay". BS.......

The car remains unrepairable and undriveable in the VW Dealers garage for 330 days and counting. No help from VW, the selling VW dealer, or the local VW dealer whose hands are now raised with the common "WTF", we can't fix this as it is intermittent. How to get the tech on it while its failing is the real problem.

Anyone else out there want to do a Class Action Suit if you have this serious problem ?
