Update from Apr 10, 2026: Brought the car in again on February 18 for 9 days to allow the dealer to figure it out.
Update from Apr 10, 2026: Brought it in on April 18th for 3 days - same issue.
Update from Apr 10, 2026: Brought it in on May 29th for 2 days - same issue.
Update from Apr 10, 2026: Brought it in on June 18th for 4 days - same issue - not resolved.
Update from Apr 10, 2026: Brought it in on July 16, 2025 for 2 days to resolve same issue. Again not resolved.
Update from Apr 10, 2026: On October 11, 2025 sent official Lemon Law certified letter to Volvo USA. The dealer (Smythe Volvo, Kevin Flanagan Owner) convinced me that I would not get a fair exchange from Volvo USA and I would be better off buying a new EX30. He and his team promised me that I experienced any issue with the 2026, they would take it back. I turned in my old EX30 and bought a new 26 EX30 in December '25.

After all this, I was DONE with the 2025 EX30. The dealer convinced me that although I had adequately demonstrated the Apple Car Play (ACP)/Head Unit issue for 2025 that 1) Volvo USA was not going to give me the full value for the car and 2) convinced me that the new 2026 EX30 had resolved the issues with ACP. They (Kevin Flanagan, Owner of Smythe Volvo) promised me that if I experienced any of the same issues with ACP in the 2026, they would take it back - no issues.
