I got in the car on day after a small rain and the carpets were soaked. The water had also been leaking from the sunroof dripping down on to my seat belt warning console that's attached to the top of the roof by the rear view mirror. Once it was wet, it started to come unglued. Now the car smells damp all the time. I also cleaned out the area where the hoses were and reconnected them but by then the damage to the wiring and carpet was already done. It's a real pain driving around smelling the damp carpets and not being able to put the windows down. If they would have fixed the problems in a recall, it could have saved money on all the other things it caused damage to; carpet, all wiring under the carpet, my console above my head. You pay a lot for this brand and they take the the cheap way out. I for one will not spend my money on a Volvo again
