The contact owns a 2012 Volvo S60. The contact stated that the air conditioner unit emitted an abnormal chemical smell that came through the vents. The contact mentioned that the failure occurred daily. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was stated that mold was built up on the evaporator that was connected to the air conditioner. The software was upgraded but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure and current mileage was 41,000. Updated 08/19/14
