No CEL light on. It idles fine. Car would surge when accelerating and/or cruising on the highway. The throttle plate would fluctuate from around 20 degrees while moving around 40 km/hr according to scanner. I have replaced the MAF sensor and replaced 3 of the 5 cracked ignition coils. I am waiting to receive my new set of ignition coils. The surging is not as evident now with the three in cracked coils I got from the autowrecker, but I will replace all 5 when I get the coils I ordered for a really good price. The surging and hesitations have improved, but it still has its moments where the problem happens. The last and most expensive is replacement or upgrading the TPS to a contactless one. I may go with purchasing the rebuild kit or wait till one shows up at the autowrecker. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
