Left and right front turn signals fail every few months. Each time the bulb contacts as well as the bulb receptacle are severly scorched and plastic is melted. I am concerned about fire hazard.

Directional signals do not automatically cancel until the steering wheel is turned passed the neutral position continuing in the opposite direction of the turn.
