The car only starts intermittently. If I try to start it and it simply turns over without starting, I pull the key out, reinsert it, and try again. This one retry often works. However, if it does not, and I repeat this procedure enough times, the car will eventually start. This same thing happened during the first year I owned the car and it was repaired by the dealer under warranty. I was told my "smart key" lost its intellengence. I was a few days out of warranty when I brought it back to the dealer for the same thing, and was told that the problem could not be recreated, therefore it could not be diagnosed or repaired. I asked them to check my history, and was told that because it could not be recreated, my history didn't matter - that it could be something else entirely.
