Customer's seat belt on a 2001 Volvo V70 would not pull out. The plastic trim piece in the "B" pillar where the seat belt slides through had broken, causing the belt to double up on retraction and seize up. This is a brittle piece of plastic and breaks fairly often with minor impacts. This would seem to be a critical fault in a major safety device.
