This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Around October of 2014 the windshield seal along the top of the windshield began leaking into the car. Water runs down the inside of the windshield, drips onto the dash board, runs behind the dashboard, and drips down onto electrical components on the center console. I've been reading some Volvo forums and apparently this is an issue with several Volvo models over several years. Apparently the adhesive used to affix the windshield is failing which causes the leaks and, in severe cases, causes the windshield to loosen from the frame. Not only do I believe this is an electrical hazard, but also a safety concern which is epidemic to many newer Volvo models.
