While driving with my three kids in the car, I was decelerating from about 55 to come to a stop on busy road when the dash blinked a few times and then told informed me of a problem and to pull the car over and exit. I barely got from the left lane to the side of the road and realized the car went into "limp" mode and would only go about 10-15mph. When finally fought my way to the right side of the street, I was able to pull off to the side street and then the car turned off. I was not able to start the car or move it again. I could not put it in nuetral, so all four wheels were lock up. Two hours later the car was pick up with a flatbed (car was put on roller skates to move it) and dropped off at the dealer.

Very unnerving and wasted half of my day.
