Car was making a lot of noise over bumps. Also was making a lot of noise when braking near the front left wheel. They couldn't recreate any of these clanking/clinking/clunking noises over bumps, but said that there was a lot of play in the ball joints and that the control arm bushings were popped completely out. I had the control arm bushings, ball joints, and front right wheel bearing all replaced at the same time to fix several different issues I was having with the loud noises heard when going over bumps and also when braking.
Still makes a lot of noise when going over bumps. They said that the noise was probably the brakes. That's what I had inspected at two different places and they both said brakes are fine. Now they say that the clinking over bumps is probably sloppy/loose brakes. Also needed a new alignment when I had these three things fixed for a grand total of ~$1483
In any case, THIS CAR SUCKS!
