The contact owns a 2003 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that the headlights and instrument panel lighting flickered on and off. The vehicle was taken to desert 215 superstore (8030 rafael rivera way, las vegas, nv, (702) 963-8000) where it was diagnosed that the body module compartment needed replacement; however, the part was no longer manufactured. The dealer stated that the part could be purchased online and they would be able to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was unknown.

The vehicle was taken to a local repair facility for diagnosis. The mechanic advised that the failure was caused by the ctm. The contact inquired with the manufacturer about NHTSA campaign id number: 02V322000 (exterior lighting: Headlights: Switch) but was advised his VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer would not provide any further assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 51,000.

He contact the manufacturer, the manufacturer stated his VIN was not included in recall 02V322000 exterior lighting: Headlights: Switch therefore they will not assist. The contact owns a 2003 Dodge Durango. While driving in the rain the contact attempted to activate the front and rear windshield wipers, but they failed to operate. The dashboard lights failed approximately three weeks later. The vehicle was taken to a dealer twice and the dealer stated that the failure could be electrical. There was recall # 07V092000 concerning electrical system: Instrument panel, but theis vehicle was excluded. The windshield wipers and dashboard lights were still inoperable. The current mileage is 40,350, and failure mileage was 36,000.
